A Different Approach to Gold Recovery

IXOS® is a patented molecularly imprinted polymer technology designed to selectively capture gold and silver from cyanide leach solutions.

Unlike conventional activated carbon, IXOS® is engineered at the molecular level to target specific metal ions, offering mines an alternative approach to adsorption, elution and downstream gold recovery.

Leach

Gold is dissolved into solution through the operation's cyanide-based leaching process.

Capture

IXOS® selectively adsorbs precious metals from the pregnant leach solution.

Captured gold is stripped from the IXOS® media through the designated elution process.

Field Deployment

From Technology to Mine-Site Operations

Four Side Solutions has supported the introduction and field evaluation of IXOS® technology within Tanzania's gold mining sector.

Testing and deployment have included ore leaching, resin-based recovery applications, fixed-bed adsorption and mine-site processing environments, generating practical operational data for commercial implementation.

The 2025 Tanga pilot provided an early field demonstration of the IXOS® platform under Tanzanian operating conditions and contributed to the development of subsequent commercial deployment work.
